What is an On-Grid Solar System?

An on-grid solar system is a rooftop solar setup connected to the electricity grid. It works alongside your existing electricity connection and helps reduce the amount of power you need to purchase from the grid.

During the day, your solar panels generate electricity for your home. When your solar system produces more power than you are using, the excess electricity can be sent to the grid through a bi-directional (net) meter, subject to applicable regulations.

An on-grid solar system typically consists of:

  • Solar Panels – Generate electricity from sunlight.
  • Solar Inverter – Converts the electricity generated by the panels into usable power for your home.
  • Mounting Structure – Securely supports the solar panels on your rooftop.
  • Bi-Directional / Net Meter – Measures the electricity flowing between your home and the grid.
  • Solar Accessories – Includes cables, connectors, protection devices, conduits and other components required for a safe and reliable installation.

Components used in "On-Grid Solar System".

Domestic Solar
Solar Panels

Solar panels are the most visible part of your solar system. Installed on your rooftop, they capture sunlight and convert it into DC (Direct Current) electricity.

Commercial Solar
Solar Inverter

The solar inverter converts the DC electricity generated by your solar panels into AC (Alternating Current) electricity that can be used by your home.

Industrial Solar
Solar Panel Mounting Structure

A good-quality structure needs to withstand changing weather conditions, including strong winds and rain, while remaining stable for years.

Industrial Solar
Solar Cables & Accessories

While these components may not be as visible as the panels or inverter, they are essential for the safe and reliable operation of your solar system

Industrial Solar
Bi-Directional / Net Meter

The bi-directional meter, commonly known as a net meter, keeps track of electricity flowing in both directions:

How It Works ?

Raw Material
01
Sunlight to Solar

Solar panels capture sunlight and produce direct current (DC) electricity.

Injection Moulding
02
Power Your Home

The inverter converts DC to AC power to run your household appliances directly.

Preform
03
Grid When Needed

Send excess units to the grid via net meter or pull backup power at night.
